You can get as creative as you want with this recipe - we chose to pair our Blueberry Matcha Powder with a fresh made blueberry puree for a delicious and refreshing treat. Blueberry Matcha Latte

What You Need
- Matcha whisk or handheld milk frother
- 1 tsp or 1 sachet blueberry matcha powder
- 2 oz hot water
- 2-3 tbsp liquid sweetener
- 1 cup ice cubes
- 4oz oat milk (or dairy alternative of choice)
- 2oz fresh blueberry puree
Matcha Preparation
Ingredients
- 1 tsp or 1 sachet blueberry matcha powder
- 2oz hot water
- 1 tbsp simple syrup
- 4oz oat milk (or dairy alternative of choice)
- Ice cubes
STEP 1
In a small bowl, sift in the matcha powder. Pour in hot water and whisk vigorously in a zigzag motion with a bamboo matcha whisk or milk frother until completely dissolved and foamy on top.
STEP 2
Add your sweetener and whisk until dissolved.
STEP 3
Set mixture aside.
Blueberry Puree Preparation
Ingredients
- 1 cup fresh blueberries
- 2 tbsp liquid sweetener
- 1/4 cup hot water
- 1/2 lime
STEP 1
In a blender, add your blueberries and sweetener.
STEP 2
Heat up filtered water until steaming (not boiling), then add into your blender.
STEP 3
Squeeze in the juice of half a lime.
STEP 4
Carefully place on your lid and blend until completely combined.
STEP 5
Pour into a mason jar and let cool. This can be stored for up to 1 week in the refrigerator.
Instructions
Step 1
In a small bowl, sift in the matcha powder. Pour in hot water and whisk vigorously in a zigzag motion with a bamboo matcha whisk or electric milk frother until completely dissolved and foamy on top.
Step 2
Add your sweetener and whisk until dissolved. Set aside.
Step 3
Add 2oz fresh blueberry puree to a glass.
Step 4
Fill your glass with ice cubes. Pour in cold oat milk until 3/4 the way full.
Step 5
Slowly pour matcha mixture on top until your glass is full. Mix and enjoy!
NOTES
- The more sweetener you add, the less of a grassy taste your matcha will have. Keep in mind that you can lose the health benefits of matcha through excess use of sweetener.
