Matcha Madness 2026 has begun! Join the Matcha Madness fun with our Cherry Cheesecake Matcha Latte recipe! Competing against three other matcha drinks, this creamy, fruity creation is easy to make at home. Try them all and see which one comes out on top!
Cherry Cheesecake Matcha Latte Ingredients
4g Ceremonial Grade Matcha
4oz hot water (not boiling)
1oz cherry puree (+ extra to drizzle on top)
4oz choice of milk
Ice cubes
Cheesecake Cold Foam Ingredients
3 tbsp heavy cream
2 tbsp whole milk
1 tbsp vanilla syrup
Cherry Cheesecake Matcha Latte Recipe
Sift 4g (~2 tsp) matcha powder into a small bowl
Slowly add 4oz hot water (not boiling). Whisk briskly in a “W” or “M” motion with a matcha whisk until the tea becomes frothy with fine bubbles and no visible lumps. Set aside.
Add 1oz cherry puree into bottom of a glass
Pour ½ cup milk into your glass and mix
Fill glass with ice
Pour matcha over milk to layer
In a separate tall cup, combine 3 tbsp heavy cream, 2 tbsp whole milk, 1 tbsp cheesecake topping, and 1 tbsp vanilla syrup. Using an electric hand milk frother, mix until thick.
Top matcha with cheesecake cold foam
Optional: drizzle cherry puree on top of cold foam
