Milk Oolong (Jin Xuan / Nai Xiang / #12)

I have been drinking oolong tea for at least 10 years. Milk oolong is the best oolong tea I’ve had. I drink at least 32 ounces every day with a splash of lemon and honey. It’s really smooth. It’s comforting. It’s warm it’s indescribable. This is the tea that I can see me drinking for a very, very long time. I really love it.

This tea is so smooth, it literally tastes like it has cream and sugar in it. It's such a nice cup of tea for the afternoon when it's too late for me to have a higher caffeine tea. I drink this almost every day.

I ordered both this tea and Iron Maiden Oolong. I had not had oolong tea so was surprised at the difference between them. Iron maiden has a grassier taste and aroma while Milk oolong is smoother with significantly less grass odor/taste. I prefer the milk oolong. I found steeping it for 7 min was good and then brewed the leaves a second at room temperature overnight.

Love the creaminess and quality of this tea. Love making a large cup and sipping through the afternoon.

The tea leaves are so beautiful. And I love that you can resteep this tea multiple times. The suddle creamy buttery flavor is surprisingly quite nice. I very much enjoy this. Very different from other oolong teas I own. The tea is a veey good quality and packaged well. Will definitely look into other teas by them.

This is my go-to milk oolong. So many have added flavoring, but this is just the tea leaves. It is smooth, creamy, and a bit sweet. Excellent tea for a good price.

I’ve been trying to find a good quality milk oolong somewhere for a couple years. I know it’s been a challenge to cultivate with climate change, since it requires a specific process with different temperatures at different times. I was really glad to find this—the quality is great! I’ll be stocking up once I can.

Love love love this oolong tea! Each infusion brings a subtle change in the flavor and it's always very smooth to taste.

I wanted to try this and I'm really glad I did. It definitely has an earthy aroma, but it's not too strong. I was expecting a little more milk/ butter taste, it had almost a very slight pepper taste. It was really good! Calming green tea, second infusion brought out a little more of the earthy taste but, for me, it was really comforting and quite enjoyable. I'll likely get a larger bag, definitely worth a try!

I like Oolong tea to began with. This Milk Oolong really does taste like you have milk in the cup with your Oolong. The taste was pleasant. Liked it!

Upon sniffing the tea, the auroma is creamy and dairy like, like a milk tea. It's as if you brewed it with milk and sugar, however, it is just withered green tea. I must say this is a spectacular process to apply such lovely taste without any additives. This is a must try, and for me, a must have in stock.

This is the real deal—just pure tea with no flavorings or mil powder added.
I tried this, outside of my comfort zone, as I generally gravitate toward flavored teas. It smelled like buttered spinach to me out of the bag, and I was nervous at first. (I like spinach, but don’t have the hankering to drink it.)

The taste was buttery, creamy, with a slight bit of hay/vegetal note, but very smooth, without astringency or bitterness. There were no tannins, from what I could tell, and the mouthfeel was thicker than most teas, and very pleasant. I tried it hot and plain first.

Then I added some honey in the rest, and that brought out some tropical fruity notes I was pleasantly surprised by: almost a caramelized pineapple note.

So I enjoyed this tea both ways, and didn’t except to like it so much!

This pure tea is great quality, and worth a try!

I first tried milk oolong at a dimsum restaurant. At $3/person, it was the most expensive tea on the menu, and with good reason. I’m not ashamed to say I now have a problem. I’m starting to itch seeing my milk oolong supply getting low.

This is by far my favorite Milk Oolong out there. I have tried plenty, and this is the smoothest most delightful flavor of them all in my opinion. I've been drinking this since 2014. Thank you for creating such a beauty.

I read about Milk Oolong tea in a tea magazine (the tea concierge had been quoted as saying milk oolong was a guest favorite) and went on an internet search to find some. I’m so glad I found this site and this tea. I am placing a second order and subscription since I gave most of it away already! I took some to a friend recovering from hip surgery and we had a nice little visit and tea party. Highly recommend this tea! It seems to be popular with everyone who tries it.

I found a sample of this in a store and it's so, so good! It's smooth, creamy, and fruity. I tried a different brand of milky oolong and it wasn't the same, so definitely splurge on this one!

This was my first time, trying milk oolong, though I had heard good things about it. Whistling kettle did not disappoint! The tea has a distinctive and delicate flavor. It brews up beautifully. Highly recommended!

Steep for more than 3 minutes. You can refresh the leaves to keep the pot going almost all day.

It started with a sample, then I upgraded to a big bag. It’s my go-to brew most days, smells fantastic when I open the bag, the right caffeine kick to launch the day (or an afternoon boost). Smooth, a bit herbal, I drink it straight with no complaint.

This is so good and so interesting! It has a slightly milky, subtly sweet flavor to it. It's wonderful all on its own or with a little bit of milk added. Tastes great hot or cold, and can be resteeped several times.

I first tasted milk oolong at a tea room in Copenhagen. Upon returning from Europe I ordered from another vendor and was really disappointed.

One whiff of this and I am thrilled! This truly is an amazing unique tea.
