Cherry Fig

I tried this one as a sample last year and it is now one of my favorites.

Oh man this tea is good. Now I'm going to make a cup because I'm thinking about it. Now that I can order it on-line I'll need a new excuse to visit Troy.

Rich, aromatic and not too sweet, this multi-layered tea is my go-to every morning. It's the one I take with me on trips. It's the one I keep at my daughter's home for visits. It's the one I serve when friends and family visit. I don't feel awake until I've had this tea!

This makes a nice iced tea, but also a full bodied warm tea that isn't too sweet.

It arrived very quickly. Always wonderful tea.

I have had some excellent tea that includes figs and was hoping this would be a new favorite. My sample pack however didn't include any visible pieces of fig and the only flavor that came though was the cherry which was fine but if I wanted to drink a straight cherry tea I wouldn't have bought one with fig in the title. Hopefully this was an isolated production error and, were I to buy another sample pack, I would have a better experience, but at present I'm not interested in rolling the dice.

It tastes so juicy without being overly sweet. Warm brown sugar-y notes, maybe even carmel-y. Strong taste of cherries, but not like syrup cherries; more like summer cherries from the trea. My new favorite tea!

Very cherry forward and the fig tones it down a tad. Very delicious for fruit lovers.

This tea is so good. It has a really deep and sweet cherry flavor

Just opening the container and smelling this tea brings happiness to mind. The tea is the perfect strength for a black tea with it not being too strong. If a splash of milk is added it is too weak for me, so I drink it black. The cherry flavor is noticeable with a few chunks of fig and whole cherries in the mix. If you are concerned about caffeine like myself, after one cup this is not too caffeinated. Every morning, I must have my cup of cherry fig tea, it just makes me happy. Enjoy

This wasn't my favorite of the samples I tried, but it is a beautiful tea. It is more of a wild cherry flavor than what I prefer. It is a good quality flavoring, and if you love wild cherry, you will adore this one!

This was my first Whistling Kettle tea. I have many flavors from a competitor and their Black Cherry is one of my favorites.
My first taste had a little bitterness, I kept drinking and noticed sweet, fruity notes. The aroma is lovely and the flavorings are just strong enough.
Overall, I am happy with my first Whistling Kettle tea experience. Thank you!

Thai tea was pretty good and had a nice light cherry flavor. I did expect more based on the high reviews. I do prefer stronger flavorings in my tea so it may just be me. If you like a lighter flavor this tea is for you. I do wish I bought a bigger bag to try it again.

I was intrigued by the mix of cherry and fig and am happy to say it's a winner! The steam coming out of the cup as I pour the water in is fragrant and inviting. And then the taste, jammy with fig and sharp with cherry! I got hooked right away. With a little cream it becomes rich and satisfying. It is now my favorite tea year round.

This is hands down my new favorite tea. This is a fantastic hot tea and would also be good iced.

I am a huge cherry fan. I am a huge black tea fan. I love this tea. I have to be careful not to drink the entire pot by myself. The balance of these fruits is of all the best of sweet, tart cherries, a bit more toward sweet than tart.

I initially bought this tea as a sample. When I opened up the sample, it was powerfully fruity and rich smelling and made everyone in the kitchen say "what's that amazing smell?!" It makes an amazing cup of hot tea and I bet it's good iced too, it is rich with the black tea and cherry. I can't say my palate can pick out the fig, but I like knowing it's in there anyway. Great tea, one of my favorites, I bought a bag the second time I ordered.
