Casablanca

I steeped 4 grams in 12 ounces of 212 degree water for 7 minutes. This tisane is AMAZING! It’s fruity, it’s sweet, it’s tart, it’s tropical, I love it! The hibiscus and rose hips give it just the right amount of tartness and acidity, the elderberry gives it depth, and the fruits (apple, papaya, strawberry, raspberry, kiwi) take me on a tropical vacation of flavors! I love how the sweetness and acidity are so well balanced. I’m definitely trying this iced with a little sugar (and maybe also with a few mint leaves, if that’s not sacrilegious) - I think it would be so refreshing cold. I really don’t think it needs sugar, but I do think a little bit might bring out the fruit flavors even more. It’s also gorgeous to look at! I’m definitely repurchasing this when I run out! I would recommend this to anyone who enjoys fruit-forward hibiscus teas. The Whistling Kettle really hit it out of the ballpark with this one! 😊

EDIT: I did try this iced and it was just as delicious cold as it was hot! So refreshing and thirst-quenching! 😊

Casablanca was absolutely delicious…a refreshing, fruity sensation! It’s a delightful option for a dessert tea after a hearty meal. It was fruity, sweet and perfectly blended.

Great tasting tea both hot and cold. This is my favorite tea to have with my nieces when we have a tea party. They love the taste. color, and call it "fruit tea."

This is one of my favorites. Mix in 2 scoops of honey and it's perfect. I prefer it luke warm not hot. It brings out the flavor a lot more if you don't bring the water to boil or even a simmer. Just warm water brewed longer with the 2 scoops of honey and this bad boy is an all time favorite

I tried this tea on a whim when I went to visit the actual location in Troy. I really enjoyed the flavor and have since bought it many times.

I never knew just how delicious tea could be until I visited Tge Whistling Kettle in Ballston Spa, NY. Everything was delicious but I could only buy the tea to take home. I wish I could take the entire tea room & kitchen as well! I was so happy to discover online ordering so I can get more easily! This taste is fruity and natural, sweet it to taste it’s the best tea I ever had!

This tisane is my all time favorite. I've been buying this one for years since I tried it one day iced at the Ballston Spa location. I bought a bag to take home and I've been drinking it hot and iced ever since. So nice to be able to buy it online. I've given it as a gift too many times.

It’s great hot but even better in the summer heat as ice tea. This tea never gets wasted. I really love it.

I go back and forth between Casablanca and Strawberry Kiwi. I usually purchase a pound per month. Next month I will go back to the Strawberry Kiwi. The cornflower in the Casablanca is the difference.

This makes a delicious ice tea - doesn't even need sugar and my daughter loves it.

I’ve been searching without success for a tasty tisane to cold brew. This makes a tasty complex flavor of bright tasty tart refreshing tea. I’ve found I easily get bored if the flavor profile is simple. This is a well balanced enticingly cool sip of deliciousness.

The first time I had this tea I had it cold and found it so delicious I ordered a bag before I even got in the car. I've made it hot & cold and both are delicious. Lots of flavor, smells great and tastes delicious. Will buy more over and over again.

This is the best tea I have had in a long time. It’s fruity flavor is superb. A touch of sweetness just adds to this wonderful tea.

Drinking caffeinated tea late in the day doesn't work for me, so when I'm in the mood for a hot beverage after dinner, this is a great choice. The flavor is fruity and satisfying. I've enjoyed it iced, too.

Casablanca is fruitful and lively and works wonderfully by itself but I will often add it to some green, black or chamomile to create my own custom blend! Love it!

Love this tea for iced tea. The fruit flavors come through and it is very refreshing. I boil water in a big pot then add my tea leaves in an extra large fold over bag. Steep for a few minutes, cool to room temperature, then refrigerate.

This tea had a little different aroma and taste to what I anticipated but it is still a good tea. With all the fruits it's a bit light for my taste but when add with come pomegranate/ cranberry or English Evening, it's quite nice.

This was given to me as a gift. I am not a huge fan of overly fruity teas so Casablanca was a little too much for me. I wanted to love it but it's almost too flavorful, and I found raspberry to be the overwhelming note.

This is a nice fruit tea. While I'm not a big fan of fruit teas, this is a good one. I also like that my kids like the taste of it. It's a good tea to drink cold as well, although I prefer to drink my tea hot.

We have been coming to Saratoga in August for 30 years and always stop in the Whistling Kettle for afternoon tea before the races. Our favorite tea is Casablanca! We are now in Sanibel, Florida waiting out the pandemic drinking Whistling Kettle tisanes.

I like a fruity sweet caffeine free tea. I have sampled lots of herbals to find one I like and Casablanca is a big winner. Lovely taste. Truly enjoyable.

This is my absolute favorite tea for iced tea. I use about 1-2 pounds per month. My son also loves it. It is perfect without any sweetener. Great fruit tea for any season.
