Where's our Whiskey Sour lovers? A Gold Rush is a modern classic cocktail that's very similar to both a Whiskey Sour and a Hot Toddy. A Whiskey Sour traditionally uses whiskey, lemon juice, simple syrup, and sometimes an egg white. A Gold Rush uses those same ingredients but replaces the use of simple syrup for honey. Infact, the Gold Rush uses the same ingredients as a Hot Toddy - except the Gold Rush is served over ice vs. a Hot Toddy is served hot.
The Gold Rush cocktail has a well-balanced profile, and the addition of our Chamomile Bilberry Bliss tea to the honey adds a delicate earthy taste that pairs perfectly with the lemon and whiskey.
